We had a lovely 1 night’s stay in this charming old inn, built in the early 1600’s. The staff made us feel welcome and served up a delicious full English breakfast in the morning.

The propertys owner helped me book breakfast, which was beautiful, when we arrived, helped me with my belongings, the room was lovely and big, it's a beautiful town with affordable Uber transport

Great place to stay

I stayed there twice in the past couple of weeks and I found the place very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant served some tasty food and the service was excellent. The breakfast was good too. I will certainly come back if I am in the area.

Lovely stay. Large clean room at the back of the hotel, bed comfy, shower was great, and full English breakfast was honestly the best I've had in a long time (quality ingredients) . Definitely would come again.

Nice hotel for a night or two.

The Crown is an old hotel right on the main street of Long Melford. The menu looked great but we ended up eating at The Bull Pub across the street be ause it was less expensive. The room was clean. The en-suite bathroom was up a couple of steps from the bedroom. There was a very heavy double door at the top of the stairs whiywas tricky with luggage. The staff very fryand helpful. Lovely breakfast.

Excellent customer service nice breakfasts.we stayed as a couple for a family wedding check in was very efficient and was shown to a very nice large room.we they booked us a table for an evening meal and the service was very good.
