The property sent us messages 2 days prior to our arrival proving information of local restaurants and other information. We found this is very thoughtful. We were welcomed warmly by the front desk staff. The hotel room is very clean and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is very great. This is a Catholic Church-turning hotel with a lovely chapel served the community. The elevator is very unique. We really enjoyed our stay.

His is a great hotel!! Diana at the front desk and behind the bar was so nice and wonderful she made our experience just amazing. All the staff was so friendly and accommodating and the fact that it is still an active church makes it so unique. It was one of our favorite places to stay!!

This hotel was great! It's a small hotel -which we loved- that's well taken-care of, with nice staff. We had to stay in a full day because of a snow storm, and we felt safe and comfortable. The rooms were clean and comfy too.

The view from my room could not be better! The staff was very friendly and the location is great. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was on the small side but seating area and view made up for it. The standard Icelandic breakfast of yogurt, cold cuts and toast was available. The staff made me a dinner reservation when I arrived.
