Vacations Close To Stumptown Ice Den

Our stay was the 2bedroom deluxe - condo-style with 7 people group including 3 children. Kids really loved the stay when they could hang out in the spacey living room + kitchen. To some people, the roof windows shining directly on the face at 6am of the early sunrise in the region in summer could be a problem if you are on the sofabed (first and second floor). But I personally rather liked it. Bath and washer were the favorite of my spouse. One big missing point is the temporature control. Air-conditioner was only in the bedroom, leaving the living room rely only on the ceiling fan. And people (fathers) stayed in the two sofabeds agreed that it was clearly uncomfortable due to the heat almost until 2am. But overall, cleaness, kindness, amenty qualities, and general management were all good. (even price was not that bad), feeling enough for full rating.

The lodge appearance and feel. The breakfast, the hot tub, and the view were all great. Did not like the fact that there were no elevators.

Great renovation to rooms, beds were very comfy. The bar on site was a chill vibe, highly recommend. The oversized hot tub was added bonus. Hotel is 1-2 min drive from downtown and 7 mins from Whitefish Lake. 35-40 mins from Glacier Park. Great stay!

Extremely disappointed…world class is defined by the smallest of details…small miniature shampoo conditioner and soap barely enough for one person for one use is not only disappointing but a major dissatisfier when attempting to achieve a world class experience…we will not be returning.

I booked this hotel back in January. Trip was planned end of June. Upon check-in they said they didn’t have our original room available. (Family of 5) so they gave us a conjoining room. That was fine, however, when I asked if each room or at least one of them has two beds I was told yes. Unfortunately, that wasn’t true. It was one queen bed in each room. So they did give us a rollaway, but still… I also chose to book here trying to keep in mind budget, but accommodations, too. When traveling with children a pool is a must for us. No one told us the pool heater was out. The water was frigid! So then the hot tub jets weren’t working either. And being that pool was too cold multiple guests were trying to cram into the hot tub. Super unfortunate. Another issue we had was the toilet wouldn’t flush properly when we arrived. My husband spoke to a gentleman at the desk. No one ever came to look or fix the issue. My husband then went back up to ask for a plunger.l the next day. He fixed the issue himself. Mind you, it was like that prior to our arrival. On a good note, there is plenty of seating at the breakfast area which is nice. There was a hot breakfast each morning, same exact items everyday just an FYI.
