In terms of the setting and the friendly welcome, this was one of the loveliest hotels I've ever stayed at. It's off the main road, right on the shore of the fjord, with sensational views and is incredibly tranquil and welcoming. I look forward to staying there again - I didn't want to leave

Beautiful setting on the point of a lake with glacier capped mountains across. The room was great and the breakfast service included was delicious with lots of options. There is electric vehicle charging on site, too. I wish we had longer to stay in this beautiful location.

The place is incredible. It is in the middle of a fjord and you see glaciers and it is just so cozy and confy you want to stay a lifetime there. You have a game area, super nice living rooms and the food us super good. Cheers to Lorentz who hosted us!

The history and quaintness was perfect for an authentic Norway holiday. We loved their breakfast served in the morning also. We had a balcony room and it had an amazing view of the water. The staff was very friendly and generous. Our stay was very comfortable and lovely. We want to return and stay longer!
