We had a great mini vacation at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn. The kids loved the pool, and our suite was spacious and clean. The breakfast was convenient and tasty. Would definitely come back!

When we got to the pool, there were many kids being wild and screaming. When the kids were leaving, the owner came over to my wife and I and told us that he would keep the pool open for an extra hour to compensate for our inconvenience. He paid for our drinks that we brought to the pool area and then even dimmed the lighting and allowed us to have the entire pool area to ourselves. We’ll never forget the hospitality shown to us on our stay.

I think the whole stay from start to finish was amazing. My fiance and myself had an amazing time and even found the perfect venue for our wedding at a later date. We're excited to go back to the nice and clean rooms.

The hostess, an older woman with long, dyed hair, was extremely, shockingly rude. The front desk ran out of towels. The hallway outside our room had a funky smell. The walls were very thin and we could hear everything going on next door. The breakfast was very basic, the pancakes were a disappointment, and the service was very slow because I believe they were understaffed. One thing I liked, though, was the indoor pool - it was very nice.

The property is beautiful and set up for events. The dining room is well appointed and the food and service the day we were there was excellent. There is a nice indoor swimming pool and a nature trail. We enjoyed our stay.

Loved this inn! Visited over Christmas break with my family. Stayed in a Ledgemere Suite which was quaint and lovely. Really liked the spacious accommodations, the private deck and being able to park right in the front of our suite and just off load our bags. We felt like we were in a Hallmark movie with the snow fall. Grounds are beautiful. Staff was lovely. We especially loved Dominique in the breakfast room. The breakfast was amazing, better than the runny eggs you get in a corporate hotel. It was all made to order. Downtown Stroudsburgh were 5 minutes away so eay to get to many places to eat out. We never had dinner or lunch at the Inn. About 15-20 minutes from Camelback and Kalahari. On our last day we woke up to no head and hot water! Thankfully we were checking out but I can imagine for the guests with ongoing stays, it would be a huge pain.

Historical inn with a generous hot breakfast

The room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. It is an older facility with some history and our room had a slightly must smell I was concerned my activate my allergies. Fortunately it did not.

Very impressed with pool, hot tub, room, reception and common areas. My only complaint is that the music in the restaurant was not appropriate. For a room with a touch of elegance ( table cloths, proper table setting, etc ) the music should have also had a touch of sophistication. It did not. The music would be ok in a local cheap eatery, but not there. Food, however, was excellent.
