I have toured around Scotland and this accommodation is by far the best I've stayed in. Very well appointed room , spotlessly clean and the host go way over and above . I can't recommend this place highly enough.

We loved our stay. The home is conveniently located mear to the ferry. It is also not far to drive to a number of historical sites. The home cooked breakfast was lovely, and the view from the dining room was beautiful. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Deborah the host was so friendly and welcoming and made our stay really pleasant with freshly prepared breakfast daily. Would highly recommend this B&B but you do need a car to get around.

Fabulous B&B

What a fantastic B&B! Our hosts were gracious and friendly. They suggested tips for visiting the island’s attractions that were super helpful. Breakfast options were extensive, well prepared and delicious. Set in the countryside, but close to the village of Stromness which has a nice grocery and places to eat. Highly recommended!!!

We loved our two night stay at Lindisfarne Bed and Breakfast. It was easy to get to from the Stromness Ferry and it’s accessible via the x1 bus. The room was clean and bright with a fabulous view over green fields. The bed gave us great nights of sleep. The host was welcoming and friendly. And the breakfast options were perfect and delicious. We highly recommend this place!

Where do we begin? The home was lovely, but the host family was the best part. We felt like we made new friends. The room was cozy and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing. If you are traveling to Stromness, stay at Lindisfarne B n B!

The bed and breakfast was located in a rural area of Stromness and was convenient for getting around Orkney. Our hosts were very helpful and breakfasts were flexible and made to order. The room was very clean and comfortable and looked out onto green fields filled with sheep and cows. Our trip coincided with a busy time for the family so check-in was a little delayed. It is critical that guests check with the hosts in advance to schedule their arrival.

Lindisfarne Stromness

Lovely property, clean and comfortable. Amazing view of the harbour from our room. Fabulous hosts and a delicious breakfast. What more could you want? The extra milk portions in the room were a great idea, normally you get 4 which you have to eke out…. Only one drawback which could have been user error, we couldn’t get the towel rail to heat up in the bathroom. We will definitely stay again next time we visit Orkney.

Great stay, room was excellent, breakfast options were varied and well cooked. Hosts were very helpful and allowed me to store my rented bike in their garage. Overall a great stay. Good location to travel out to Skara Brae, Birsay, the Orkney Brewery, Stenness, Ring of Brodgar, HOUTON AND THE ferry to Scapa Museum.

We recently enjoyed our holiday stay at the Lindisfarne bed and breakfast in Stromness. This was our first visit to the Orkney Islands and we stayed there for two weeks. Kevin and Debbie were our host's at the B and B. They both looked after us superbly. The quality of the accommodation was excellent and the breakfast was generous and delicious. We will most certainly be returning and cannot find the word's to thank both Debbie and Kevin for their fantastic hospitality.
