“The room was far too hot. There was a thick winter 13 tog duvet on our bed ( and it was June weather) my husband asked for a blanket and sheet so the cleaner took away duvet but only left a sheet no blanket, so we were then cold on our second night and had to put our light raincoats on ourselves to keep warm:( The bed was far too small with it being a small double. Suggest you get smaller bedsize cabinets thsn the chunky ones and invest in a wider king-size bed for comfort for guests!”

“Really enjoyed our overnight stay in the King Penguin room at the Sheep & Pigeon. Room was very clean, comfortable, well equipped and quiet. We had a lovely evening meal . Recommend the River Teign mussels . Staff were welcoming & attentive .”

“Overall, I had a pleasant one night stay at the Walnut Tree Hotel. The room was quite basic and a little dated, but it had the essentials, including a double bed, tea and coffee-making facilities, and towels. Unfortunately, the TV in my room had no signal, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, given the warm weather, it would have been nice to have a fan in the room, as there were no facilities to help with the heat. “Called for one while exploring the Somerset Levels. Perfect location for managed to book the last room, this was the largest of all the rooms available comfortable, clean & very spacious. The propriter was very welcoming on arrival and made us tea to take in the rear.”
