“The motel was very rustic and requires many updates. The tv remote did not work and after review by staff who indicated the Manager was aware of the problem however did not address the issue. We stayed in unit #10 and the furniture consisted of a table and two wooden chairs, without any other furniture to sit on other than the two beds. There was a smoke detector bracket on the ceiling but no smoke detector. This is a fire safety concern.

“The owners are really helpful and friendly. The rooms are perfect, showing a tremendous attention to detail. Breakfast was the best on this trip, and the owner showed us pictures of the island and told us about its history as we ate. After that, he picked up his fiddle and provided us with a mini concert. 10 stars is my evaluation!!”
