Yet another great stay at Foster's. Definitely my favourite place to stay in Stratford. The staff greeted me like a long lost friend and made me feel right at home. Every trip they seem to add an extra minor improvement to enhance the room and experience. Very comfortable, sparkling clean and quiet.

All the staff members were wonderful! We are at the restaurant twice and all our meal were amazing My husband uses a wheelchair and there were some small challenges as it is an older property but staff were helpful and we were prepared for some of the issues

Our stay in Stratford was fine at the Foster’s Inn. The staff at the desk were helpful and the property was located close to the theaters. Although the hotel is someone basic, the rooms were clean and it looked like the bathroom had been redone within the last few years. There’s also free parking about a three or four minute walk away. The only downside is the cost. We paid what I would expect to pay in a quality hotel in downtown Toronto - $411 for one night (including taxes). For quite a basic hotel, which is somewhat in need of upgrades, I think it is overpriced. But all in all, a good stay.

The location is prime, practically next door to the Avon Theater. Our room was large with a beautiful updated bathroom… a good elevator which is nice for an older Victorian building and not always the case. The restaurant is quaint and had a nice choice for their breakfast/brunch menu and it was well prepared. I would recommend this place.

- Great staff. - Restaurant was also very good with fair pricing - Rooms where clean and well maintained - Bathrooms very immaculate, not a single speck of grime to be found, also very modern - Great central location, half a block from the Avon theatre - No parking on site, there is parallel municipal street parking but at a cost, free municipal public parking lot a few blocks away, the walk is quite nice as you get to walk through the neighborhood.

The Inn is not an Inn , simply rooms over a restaurant, That said, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. And the staff kind and helpful. The unfortunate experience was the price, $491 for a room that sold for $161 plus tax the next night, more in line with the facility. Only a room.

Great place to stay and great food,the staff is awesome and helpful. The only one thing is when booking a room it states breakfast is included which is of course a seller but it was not and only offered a free mimosa, very misleading. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

Fosters is our "go to" place to stay when we visit Stratford for the shows at the Festival. It is located practically right next door to two of the four theaters and is well within walking distance to the other two. Craig Foster recently sold the hotel he had founded well over 20 years ago (I'm guessing) and it is now managed by Mercers, another fine establishment in Stratford. Over the past year Mercers has been beautifully redoing the rooms and upgrading the bathrooms! The restaurant at Fosters is very, very nice and serves 4 star meals!

We've stayed here before two years ago and returned because we enjoyed the staff, food and the lodging . . . even though we liked it then, we like it even more now because of the remodeled the rooms. The rooms have a nice urban vibe and are immaculately clean.
