Staff were lovely and friendly, slight misunderstanding with the sauna charge (€11.50 when we went in Dec’25) slightly high just to use it for 15mins. Hotel is close enough to walk to local attractions and amenities. Rooms however are very outdated and need repainting (not as pictured), pillows were really thin and not comfortable to sleep on. Generally stay was fine but probably won’t stay again.

Cozy and accessible to town.

Our stay was cozy. The hotel is located near main sights (e.g, cathedral) and the shopping district. The breakfast at the hotel was also good. There was a good selection of food. The only downside was a missing trash bin inside the room and there were some holes in our towels. Otherwise, the hotel is perfectly located in a safe neighborhood.

Close to Xmas Markets but bring earplug

Very charming hotel with friendly staff. We stayed in the penthouse suite. Very comfortable. You do have to climb one set of spiral stairs fyi. You do hear the church Bells every 30min even past midnight but that’s everywhere in Strasbourg. So recommend bringing earplugs. Only a bridge away from the center of all Xmas markets.

The hotel was older and pretty outdated and didn't feel particularly welcoming or comfortable, but because its a small town and we only stayed a single night, it didn't impact us much. The rooms are small, though we've had smaller rooms in Europe so that wasn't a big deal. I'd say the rooms could use a little refresh, some upgraded furnishings. The location was great, we visited the Christmas Market and it was an easy walk around all the things to see, and we felt safe.

This hotel is right by the island where the Christmas markets are held so it is easy to walk to. It was approximately a 15 min tram ride from the train station and then about 5 mins to the hotel. We were three and ended up with almost a suite - two rooms behind one door and a private bathroom. Cosy but comfortable. Would recommend it.

This hotel is in a good location but the price is insane for what you get. A sauna is mentioned in the listing but the price list at the front desk advised of a surcharge associated to its use. I understand the Christmas markets drive up the price at this time of year but I was generally disappointed with my stay. The single room was absolutely miniscule, even by European standards, and offered nothing in the way of amenities. The blanket on my bed was visibly stained when I arrived (gross) and when I pointed it out to the receptionist, I was basically sneered at and gaslighted into thinking it wasn’t there (it absolutely was). I was also told that “I wouldn’t need it” when I asked for another and that it was just for decoration. I can tell you that I wasn’t left feeling confident in the cleaning standards of a hotel that doesn’t wash their bedding or particularly cared for by the staff. Also, they were right that I didn’t need it because the room was sweltering but I couldn’t sleep with the window open because of the surrounding street noise at all hours of the night.

La stanza era meravigliosa e al nostro arrivo ci e’ stato offerto un upgrade di quest’ultima in maniera totalmente gratuita. La posizione e’ ottimale poichè a ridosso della cattedrale e vicina alma famosa rue de maroquin in cui troviamo gli orsetti appesi. (Il parcheggio non viene offerto come servizio dell’hotel ma e’ presente un silos a 100mt). Se dovessimo tornare a Strasburgo, torneremo sicuramente qui.
