It’s an old property- if you love quirky you’ll love it. If you want pristine, you won’t. Food was fantastic for dinner and breakfast. Spent time talking to the owners who are fantastic people- including the son as chef. If character and informal brilliance are your thing go. If not don’t. And the views…..

This was the best accommodation that we had in our whole two weeks in the UK. The owners are absolutely lovely and amazing, the dinner was divine, the breakfast was very tasty and the setting of the lighthouse right at the coast is absolutely stunning. Also, our dog was very welcome and loved it. I definitely recommend this to everyone - even if just for a dinner or lunch.

The night staff and dinner ataff were amazing. The morning staff was not their at 8 am, as stated, ao we did not get breakfast before leaving. The morning manager waa rude via messaging and called us liars even though we were there at 8 am and knocked.

Unique and gorgeous hotel in the Irish coast to stay at before catching a ferry to Ireland. We arrived late, so give yourself enough time to have dinner and enjoy the morning. If you’re catching the P&O ferry at 8 AM, you probably need to leave at 6 AM to properly get in the queue, so plan accordingly. It’s a once in a lifetime experience though!
