Our stay at Hotell Utsikten was great. The staff is super attentive. The property is up a ways so the view is fantastic. Cozy lobby bar and excellent breakfast. Also, we walked right from the hotel to the Vesteras trails. If there are rooms available, this is the place I’d stay in Gerainger!

View from the room was truly spectacular. The staff was efficient. But there was neither shampoo nor conditioner in the room. The front desk will sell a tiny bottle for 4 dollars. That seemed awfully inappropriate for the price we paid. Room was clean, but minuscule in size - smallest room in 2 weeks of travel in Norway.

Geiranger Hotel Utsikten Review

The Hotel Utsikten is a wonderful smaller vintage hotel. We really liked the historic photographs that are on the walls around the building. It felt cozy there. Some of the rooms have a view of the fjord. The breakfast was good with lots of variety and options.

The hotel is older, but has so much character and history. Very clean and comfortable. The views are amazing! Staff was efficient and very personable. Very good breakfast with lots to choose from. Deserts were very good as well!
