We have booked our stay at the hotel as we would like to stay in the aqua park. All slides (except 1 small Indoor slide) where closed. Also the spa pools where closed. This is not stated through the booking or before arrival and we are very very disappointed. There where also aqua gym in the only open pool and we needed to leave the pool. We would not have been visiting the aqua park nor hotel if we where familiar with the conditions. The advertising material do not match the experience.

Worst service, nice rooms

Nice rooms, terrible terrible service from the front desk. No hot water in the evening. The restaurant smelled like cheap chicken stock. The advertised features, like an indoor and outdoor pool didn't exist. When we asked about the nextdoor waterpark, we were told by one receptionist that it would be 15 euros and that it was open, 5 minutes later another receptionist told us it was closed, but would open the next day. When we went the next day, only the big pool was functioning, all slides, and whirlpools ect was out of order. I feel bad for all the parents who had promised their kids a trip to the water park... And none of the receptionists told us about everything being out of order.

Disappointing Experience – Misleading Listing

We booked our stay at Wyndham Stralsund HanseDom through Hotels.com, with the main reason being the advertised “Indoor & Outdoor Pool” included as part of the hotel amenities. You can still see this claim here: Hotels.com listing. Unfortunately, this turned out to be highly misleading. False Advertising: The indoor and outdoor pools are not part of the hotel stay. They belong to a separate waterpark, which charges an additional 19€ per person. While the waterpark is marked with “additional fees,” the pools are not clearly separated in the listing—leading us to believe they were part of the included amenities. To make matters worse, the outdoor pool was closed due to construction, something we were not informed of in advance. We decided against visiting the waterpark altogether, as the main attraction was inaccessible and we didn’t feel it was worth the extra fee. Outdated and Unclean: The hotel was built in 1999 and feels like a time capsule from the late 90s. The carpets, curtains, and decor all appear original—and now 26 years later, they are visibly worn and stained. Cleanliness was a concern. Misleading Photos: The promotional photo (image 5 of 45 on Hotels.com) showing the bright, generous breakfast buffet is completely misleading. I’ve attached the listing photo and

Leider waren wir von dem Zimmer mehr als enttäuscht. Sehr abgewohnt und nicht gerade sauber. Flecken in Teppich und Vorhänge. Die sanitären Anlagen sind auch schon in die Jahre gekommen. Für den Preis echt enttäuschend. Leider hat sich auch das Personal nicht wirklich dafür interessiert. Das Frühstück dafür muss man loben. Da hat es an nix gefehlt.

Das Hotel ist insgesamt in die Jahre gekommen. Unser Zimmer im 8. Stock war sehr groß und es gab auch ausreichend Schränke und einen Kühlschrank im Leuchtturm. Das Badezimmer mit Badewanne hatte deutlichen Ende 80ger/Anfang 90ger Style und eine entsprechende Ausstattung. Es gab keine Steckdose im Badezimmer. Dafür war die Toilette innerhalb des Badezimmers mit einer Schiebetür abzutrennen. Das fanden wir sehr gut. Bei unserer Ankunft befanden sich noch dunkle Haare in der Badewanne. Generell erfolgt beim Einchecken der Hinweis, dass es den Zimmerservice (tägliche Reinigung) nur gibt, wenn man diesen anfordert. Eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit (z.B. kostenloses Getränk an der Bar) wie in anderen Hotels für den Verzicht auf den Service gibt es aber nicht. Während unsers Aufenthaltes ist die Wasserversorgung für einige Zeit ausgefallen und wir mussten die Sanitäranlagen im angeschlossenen Schwimmbad nutzen. Auch dafür keine Aufmerksamkeit oder Preisnachlass. Das Hotel befindet sich direkt am Strelapark Einkaufszentrum. Da wir gerne bei offenem Fenster schlafen, wurden wir leider mehrmals mitten in der Nacht (zwischen 2 und 4 Uhr) von LKWs geweckt, die lautstark entladen wurden. Bei Ankunft am Hotel muss man aufpassen, dass man die kostenlose Parkdauer von 15 Minuten nicht überschreitet, da man sonst mit einer Strafe von bis zu 45 Euro rechnen muss. Das war für das Einchecken und Entladen der Koffer sehr stressig. Frühstück war okay.

Auf den Bildern hat es mitunter den Anschein , das das Schwimmbad mit zum Hotel gehört. Dennoch sind es zwei verschiedene Orte . Das Zimmer war sauber , es gab keine Klimaanlage, nur Vorhänge zum verdunkeln . kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel.

Rummet i sig var helt okej, ganska varmt eftersom det inte fanns AC, men flera fönster som man kunde öppna. Däremot så var frukosten verkligen inte värd pengarna. Inga pannkakor, våfflor, bacon eller ens gurka fanns. Det fanns heller inte någon bra och mysig sitthörna där man kunde chilla och ta en drink kvällstid. Det finns heller inga andra restauranger i närheten och det är hopplöst svårt att få tag i en taxi (uber finns inte) så i slutändan så är det bästa med hotellet köpcentrat som ligger bredvid med bra mat och flera restauranger att välja på. Inget ställe vi besöker igen, de pengarna vi la ut för 2 dagar kunde ha spenderats mycket bättre.

Stort udvalg af morgenmad, flot og lækkert hotel, rent og pænt generelt. Badelandet fik vi desværre ikke prøvet. Og der var 3 bil ladere på hotellet men selvom vi fik koblet på og henvendt til personalet var den ikke opladet dagen efter.
