Beautiful green area behind the property that leads down to the creek. I’m writing this in July so it was nice to go down and take advantage of some of the chairs and the swings they had. The staff was absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend this property.

Great property. The beds could have been a little more comfortable (we felt like the mattresses in our first room were very saggy) but they moved us to another room upon request which was better. I absolutely loved my visit and was sad to leave. My room had a little deck overlooking a river, so it was very peaceful and full of birdsongs. The grounds were beautiful. My room was very clean and comfortable, and the heated pool was a treat. The desk staff could not have been nicer, and were very good natured and helpful when I locked myself out of my room. And the coffee in the lobby was delicious! Flavorful and strong! If I return to Stowe, I will definitely stay at the Tälta again!

We had a wonderful stay at Talta Lodge. The grounds were beautiful, and the river was a peaceful place to relax. The complimentary morning coffee was a great way to start each day. Our room was cleaned daily, and we really enjoyed spending time on the balcony, taking in the natural surroundings and listening to the birds. One small suggestion would be to replace or empty the outdoor garbage bins more frequently. They were full of dog waste bags, and the heat from the sun caused an unpleasant odor during the day. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. We'd love to come back in the winter to experience the lodge in a different season. Until next time!
