Really cool hotel with character. We loved the beautiful spacious bar and hangout spaces downstairs. The staff was very positive, nice and helpful. We got to reserve the hot tub which was awesome and the pool was a great for a cool off afterwards. We liked the character of the whole space and our room was really cozy, very clean and we slept great.

The process was simple from start to finish. The check in desk staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, the property is unique and has a freshness that is not corporate so you feel the community in it's bones. The amenities are plentiful, breakfast was a welcome delight with build your own yogurt bowls, fresh fruit, deviled eggs and croissants....and of course premium coffee. It is my go to when I visit this area.

Rooms were clean. Bed was soft and comfortable. Yummy cookie waiting for us in room with a bottle water. Breakfast was fruit, bagels, and yogurt. My son’s air conditioner broke in the night. When he called the front desk, the person at desk said sorry to hear that and hung up. But the issue wasn’t taken care of. There are steps.

The room was small. No chair, no couch, no place to put luggage out of the way. The shower stall door was broken and the bathroom was very small with no room to move around with two people. My husband fixed the blind in our room because it was broken. The water took 30 sec or more to get hot. Loved the breakfast.

I was traveling for a two day class in Waterbury and found the Field Lodge by chance as I didn't really know the area too well. Before even checking in, I was thrilled with the service. It was a three hour ride and I was cutting it close to get there before 9:00 PM. I spoke with Zane and he assured me that he would either still be there or there would be instructions left for me. Upon arrival, he made sure everything worked from the key to the shower and let me know about coffee and breakfast as well as restaurants I might want to check out in the area. The room was great and the bed was comfortable with GREAT pillows. The only issue that was not a big deal was the shower stall being a little small. The cookies and bottled water in the room were a nice touch also. I will definitely be staying again when I travel back that way.

The location was great and we could walk to town and restaurants . The breakfasts were wonderful. I loved the tub and bath salts. The staff was very friendly . I booked through Expedia which said all taxes and fees were included but when we got to the condo we had to pay a little over $50 extra. Wish the price had been what I had booked it. We had a room in the 400’s and the couch and outside furniture were well used. The roof was very slanted so had to be very careful not to hit our heads when we went to the bathroom or bedroom. The lobby was interesting… very 70’s decor . Had some great things and some not so great.

Always love when we stay here. Great boutique hotel.. love decor and areas for lounging with cozy fireplaces. Rooms are spacious for what we need on a ski trip. I really enjoyed my stay at Field Guide Lodge. The living area is beautifully designed—spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. I especially loved the furniture and overall vibe. The morning coffee and afternoon hot cider were such nice touches, and breakfast was wonderful. The room was spacious, and I really enjoyed the bathtub—nothing compares to a hot soak after a full day of snowboarding! The location is great as well—I loved having The Bench restaurant just across the street. The front desk team was also very responsive and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely come back!

The property had a nice and cozy feel. Certainly not what I expected, but pleasantly surprised. Very clean. The pool and hot tub were out of order butcwe had a nice sized soaker tub in our room that came in handy after skiing. Stowe mount is about 10 minuyes minutes away so very convenient.
