Always love when we stay here. Great boutique hotel.. love decor and areas for lounging with cozy fireplaces. Rooms are spacious for what we need on a ski trip. Breakfast is always great too with fresh fruit, homemade muffins, yogurt with all toppings. Perfect before hitting slopes. This is our 4th time staying here when we visit Stowe

I've stayed here before and love it and this experience was good, but I was disappointed that I did not have hot water in my shower- Luke warm at best. I told staff, but they said the room notoriously had no hot water. Hot tub was out of order ( had to go next door to use theres), and lacked basic coffee/tea in room ( coffee was downstairs though and good). It's super cozy and has lots of little fires in the lobby area with seating areas that I love. Live music was fantastic.

It was our second stay, and the hotel did not disappoint again! Its overall design, the staff and the proper selection breakfast with day-to-day diversity created a constant feel of home warmth and pleasure. I love Feild Guide it's my second stay. I felt like the room could have used a little more love in areas like the dresser drawers but overall love the ambiance and coziness. Lovely breakfasts every morning with enough time to get to the mountain for first chair.

room was very clean. staff was very nice. breakfasts were delicious and complimentary. only 2 issues were he super loud folks above me that sounded like they kept their ski boots on late at night. and the room i was staying in had very wide cracks around the door so the hall lights were shining in around the cracks all night. the soaking tub in the bathroom was rather nice, but took a solid 30 minutes to get a decent amount of water in. this is the 2nd time i've stayed here, good value for the price.
