“Staff were welcoming. I had a single room which was a good size. Room was clean but basic. Lovely village. My car was too big to risk driving into car park. A small car would have been fine. Parking very difficult in the village. Breakfast was also very basic with cereal, toast and yogurt but did the job. Not a luxury stay but reasonably priced for the area.”

“We stayed here for the weekend of26th June , what a gem of a place to find . Room was lovely , staff were very chatty and nothing was too much trouble , food excellent . Although not in the normal hot spot stays , this pub is in a quiet location but not far from anywhere . Highly recommend a stay here at this pub”

This market was first granted by charter in 1629 and established in its current form in 1976. While it is a relatively small market, it was very interesting, and we got a couple of lovely items. “The hotel is situated in the beautiful village of Wroxton with many thatched properties. The staff, although mostly young people could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The full English breakfast was excellent, especially the sausages which I suspect may well have been sourced locally. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel which was very good value for the lovely room we were allocated.”
