We received a lovely warm welcome. Our room was beautifully clean with very comfortable beds. The Boatshed restaurant was amazing. Delicious food and huge portions. Breakfast was equally delicious and staff were friendly, attentive and highly professional. I’d recommend a stay here.

Very cute little room, friendly and helpful staff, and excellent food. We didn’t roam too far for food and even came back later in our trip to come back for a last meal. They accommodated our dietary restrictions with excellent alternatives. Fantastic stay!!

We absolutely loved it here. The staff are wonderful, very helpful and friendly. The room was lovely overlooking the castle and harbour. The breakfast was all freshly cooked and delicious. We could not fault any of it would definitely recommend.

This was our first time on Lewis and The Royal was an excellent base to explore the Isles of Lewis and Harris. The staff were friendly, the food superb and the room had everything we needed. Would use again.
