Such a lovely team who were attentive and anticipative of my needs. The room had the essentials with an en-suite. Breakfast was also very enjoyable. The premises is by the shore which added to its sparkle. Would definitely visit again.

The room was small but seemed to be newly renovated very clean. The shower was hot and had good pressure. We had dinner & breakfast at the hotel restaurant, both were delicious. If your coming from the states our experiences at hotel restaurants have been poor. Here in Scotland we have eaten at a few hotel restaurants and have had great food everytime. Take a walk behind the hotel allong the beach it is beautiful. The hotel is only 1.7 mikes from Dunnattar Castle allong a very nice trail along the north sea. You will also be able to see the war memoral on top of the hill. Highly recommend Number 44

The hotel is walking distance from a beautiful beach. The restaurant/bar had delicious food and great service. We would definitely stay here again.

The room has an opaque window that I could only open an inch or so. It was very hot and there was no way to ventilate the room. I was very uncomfortable. A table fan would cost £10 and make a huge difference. Staff were nice and location great.
