“Room was awesome! Very, very nice rustic rooms. Andrea was the friendliest desk clerk I can remember having and we travel a lot. They have a beautiful welcoming cat, he is so nice. We would never stay anywhere else from now on when we come to Hayward.”

“This is my favorite place to stay in the Rice Lake area. It is a charming lodge tucked away in a quiet spot right on the lake. Expect beautiful vistas year round. Each room is designed uniquely, several are pet friendly. Each has a view of and access to the lake. The staff/owners are friendly and accommodating. There are complementary non-motorized water activities in the summer and nightly campfires. Breakfast is fruit and a locally baked scone. There is nothing hotel-chain about this place. ”

“Most of the units were individual units. Office and front step area could use some sprucing up. The beds were comfortable. There were no klenex available in the room nor cups with the coffee maker. For the times, the cost was just under $100.”
