This was our second time coming too the Bee Hive Guest House and what I can say it was excellent from start too finish! Jo was amazing host as per usual the room was always cleaned and fresh and their breakfast is lovely! Highly recommend this place espically if your going too Alton towers! Also Jo knows a lot about Alton towers!

xcellent establishment from pre-arrival communication to the time of departure. Room was very clean and well laid out, facilities were excellent and the breakfast was of a very high quality. Lovely location and staff. Very comfy. Lovely breakfasts. Only downside was the breakfast was only served between 8-9 so if you accidently overslept, as we did twice, you're SOL and you're buying breakfast in uttoxeter, which isn't a bad thing as there is lots of great places to eat. Otherwise, lovely accommodations

Clean and great location. Lovely breakfast

Great location for Alton Towers. Clean, freshly refurbished and an excellent breakfast. Single beds in the Twin we stayed in were 2'6" beds (3' would be nicer) but perfectly comfortable. Electric shower was new and bathroom spotless. Would be nice if the shower was pumped so had more pressure but this is just me being picky. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent accommodation & service

We stayed here two nights for our visit to Alton Towers and it was the perfect location. The hosts Jo and Steve provided excellent service; their restaurant recommendations were brilliant and their breakfast was delicious. The room was clean and very comfortable and we would highly recommend.

Alton Towers Trip

Short weekend stay to go to Alton Towers. Guest house is very cosy and rooms are very pretty and comfortable. Breakfast really good and so was the host. Recommend every day of the week.

Had a lovely welcome from Jo who was very knowledgable on area and Alton Towers theme park which was our reason for staying. Alton Towers was a short easy drive around 10 minutes. Peaceful location. From the moment we arrived the hostess, Jo, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The room was clean with good facilities and refreshments. The property is conveniently located for visiting Alton Towers (less than a 10min drive). Would strongly recommend a stay at The Beehive Guest House if visiting the area.

What a fabulous find - 10 mins from Alton Towers!

What a lovely find. We would not hesitate in staying here again. Everything we needed was provided and it was lovely to wake up and be able to have a cooked breakfast. Alton Towers was 2 miles away - a 10 minute drive - and it was the perfect location at the end of a busy day. I would not hesitate in recommending the Beehive to others.

Perfect for an Alton Towers getaway!

We had such a lovely stay at the Beehive guest house. Jo is a lovely lady who looked after us so well and catered for our differing dietary requirements. She’s super knowledgeable about Alton Towers (which was the reason for our visit) and it was interesting to hear all about the rides history. We stayed in the kingsize room and it was perfect - clean, comfortable and homely. We’ll definitely be back!

Love, love, loved it here. I cannot fault anything. Hot drinks in your room, toiletries and towels included. Freshly made breakfast. Their speciality is definitely a must to try! Less than 5 minutes drive to Alton Towers and Jo is very informative about the rides, which is very handy. Will definitely be back.

Great service

Lovely B&B. Clean, modern, comfortable and only a few minutes drive from Alton towers. Host Jo was lovely, chatty and knowledgeable of the area. I happened to mention that I had forgotten my phone charger and Jo kindly found a spare I could borrow. Great service! Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. I would definately recommend staying here!
