Hotel location is ideal - next to the train station and less than 10 minute train ride to Manchester City with plenty of trains passing through. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful check-in was easy and there’s a secure luggage room if you arrive a bit early and want to explore without your suitcase. We booked a twin room which was really comfortable, there were big beds, plenty of chairs, storage, hairdryer, kettle with tea and coffee, iron etc. Everything we needed and we had a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was clean and spacious, my friend loved the shower! Breakfast was served downstairs - it was busy due to guests staying after a football match but there plenty of tables and seats for everyone. There was a big range of hot and cold food and drinks and staff were very pleasant and helpful. Checkout was smooth and efficient. We had a great stay and would stay at this hotel again if we’re in the area again.
