First time here and fell in love with it. The staff is the best, the private beach all to yourself is the best. Be aware, you are on a private island, which is limited to options for dining, but absolutely the best experience and stay we’ve had here. Definitely doing it again!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The peace and quiet of the island was much appreciated by us and we enjoyed walking on the beautiful deserted beaches. The cabin boats were a nice change from a hotel room.

St Francis Resort is very clean, and all of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It is a short kayak or paddleboard ride to the Chat ‘n Chill. Stocking island is beautiful and we will definitely return.

The most place with the most beautiful people. Everyone became like family. The food was amazing. Arrangements for us to go on boat tour was made so easy. The room was beautiful with beautiful views. So laid back…. If I could give 10 stars I would! I will definitely be back. Our most favorite in the world now! Thank you all SO much!!!!!

Staff made this rustic resort more desirable than a high end resort . The resort also is affordable and the food is good. Stayed 9 nights and wish I was independently wealthy so I could stay longer. The views are breathtaking and peaceful. I will return.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The blue water, the private beach area, the food at the Snappy Turtle was all terrific! The service & the people really great! The condition of the property as a whole and the aesthetics could be improved. But the club room was super cozy and updated. We will be back to Stocking Island!

The resort is in a beautiful location, nearby incredible beaches that have very few visitors. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The new management went to every length to make our stay special. From arranging boat transportation to nearby beaches to providing suggestions for trips or must visit places. Julia and Richard ensured the trip was a special and memorable one. We look forward to returning!

This place was perfect if you needed to be somewhere remote, away from the hustle and bustle. The food was awesome, and the staff was very polite. The one thing I would definitely suggest is to spruce up the resort a bit and remove the construction debris from the rooms facing the beach, where the balcony is located. Overall, we enjoyed our stay! Thank you staff. We also enjoyed our boat rides with cha cha.

The Saint Francis resort was a perfect choice for our recent family trip. We had our 3 kids along being ages 16, 14 and 11. I had warned them it wasn’t a lavish resort and it was going to be a nice relaxing vacation. Relaxing is exactly what it was! From what we saw, the oceanside at any given time had a maximum of 10 people in view. And at most times it was just us on the beach. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Shout out to Shantel, Desmond, Torez, Kara, Delly, Mary, Stafford and Chacho! You all made it a great memorable family vacation and I thank you for that. The food was great! Our 11 year old really enjoyed eating like a king! If you want a private beach and relaxing resort that delivers great hospitality, this one is for you! Thanks again!

The property is in a Beautiful location. Snorkeling around the property is very nice. The staff at the restaurant were great but seating is limited. The offer was open for transport to the big island often throughout the day. The view from the sea view rooms is outstanding. Room Air was perfect, dining depended on time of day and population. The biggest issue was lack of water pressure that got extreme at times. We would do it all over again and probably will.

Simply put, an amazing staff. They all were friendly, courteous, and above all, accommodating. The views from all sides of the resort are spectacular and cannot be topped. The views from our room overlooked the bay side and the colors of the water were unreal. A few steps (literally) to the other side of the resort and there was the most spectacular beach and ocean views. The majority of the people using this beach were hotel guests so it was basically a private beach. Cannot speak highly enough of this place, the staff and my time there.

We absolutely loved this property. It is not for everyone I would say, but it was perfect for us. Nothing fancy or fussy here, just clean, well appointed simple rooms but with the most wonderful service and staff, perfect remote beach, daily housekeeping and fresh water and coffee each day in room and the location can't be beat. What it may lack in amenities and flair, it was made up by cleanliness, charm, soft sandy remote practically private beaches, location, service and comfort. I would go back in a heartbeat. It looks like they are in the process of revamping the property and I imagine it will be even better when we go back! Can't wait!

This place is an absolute hidden gem, truly one-of-a-kind and far beyond what we expected. I'm genuinely surprised it doesn’t have more reviews, because it deserves to be recognized for how exceptional it is. From the moment we arrived, we were completely captivated by the scenery—it’s like stepping into a postcard or a beautifully filmed nature documentary. The location is simply breathtaking, with crystal-clear waters that are hands down the most beautiful we’ve ever seen. We traveled with two toddlers, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were kind, patient, and incredibly accommodating, which made our stay all the more enjoyable and relaxing. The warmth and hospitality we experienced here were second to none. Words truly fall short in capturing the peace and beauty of this place. It’s the kind of destination you want to keep to yourself, yet feel compelled to share because it’s just that special. We feel so fortunate to have discovered it. This is without a doubt one of the best-kept secrets we’ve ever come across.

Fantastic location! We loved the people and the staff was super nice! Breakfast was great and the hot breakfast option was a plus!! The food was amazing (lunch and dinner). I think they were understaffed as the service was very slow after our first day, specially for drink orders. Being so hot outside, we would appreciate if drinks were brought sooner. Our only other complaint was the mosquitos!! It was quite insane! Better spraying of the property would make for a better dining experience. Bring bug spray! Haha. With that said, we LOVED stocking Island and every single staff..Marvin, Shay, Desmond and the others I can remember by name-- you made us feel at home and you are genuinely incredible humans! We loved the snorkling masks Marvin lended to us! It was incredible exploring the Island and being able to see underwater. The Blue Hole, Starfish beach, and Chat n Chill are a must! Property offers Kayaks (first come first serve, but there is enough). George Town is has great souvenirs and for getting snacks and drinks to bring back to the resort. Everywhere you go is either by water taxi provided at no cost by the property - (tip Chancho well, he is awesome), or by Kayak. We kayaked to both Chat n chill and the Blue Hole. It was lovely and we hope to come back someday!! THANK YOU everyone!!! We loved the Bahamas!

Amazing quiet resort tucked in a beautiful cove

Our stay was AMAZING! Stayed at one of the ocean view cottages and the room was perfect. Huge bathroom and amazing balcony with lounge style chairs to sit back and enjoy the night, stars and sounds of the ocean! The restaurant was AMAZING. The food was really good and fresh made to order. I recommend the peas and rice with lobster and shrimp dish they have!
