We thought this hotel was superbly located for central Stockholm and on the water. The only disappointment we had were the staff. The restaurant staff were badly trained and made the dining experience less than desirable.

This was our second stay at Villa Källhagen for my daughter and I, having stayed there previously 2 years ago. The reason we stayed again is because it meets our needs,and are reasonable in price. The rooms are adequate, on the first floor, the staff is very personable and friendly. On site parking and easily accessible for Uber.The included breakfast is a welcome feature and well attended. We love this hotel.

Stockholm Stay

Excellent experience on the whole. Staff were all wonderful. Hotel is located in a very nice place. Restaurant was wonderful. Especially Moa from the reception and Jasmine from the restaurant, were excellent. Thanks for making it a memorable time in Stockholm.

Wonderful overnight stay.

I booked this primarily because I had a visa appoint at the US embassy, which is less than 5 minutes away by foot - and I was positively surprised. The room was really nice and clean - kept in light, soothing colors. And the bed comfortable - all making it easy to relax and keep my mind off the somewhat stressful ordeal the embassy the next day. The breakfast buffet is really tasty and with a wide selection of tees and food. especially their strawberry jam I found amazing :) I arrived late in the evening around 9pm, but it was super easy to contact the hotel beforehand and no problem to plan for the somewhat late check-in. The staff was really friendly, and I was even allowed to leave my bags at the front desk, during my interview at the embassy

Nice stay

Beautiful surroundings within easy walking distance of central Stockholm. Clean room with l’occitane toiletries. We had a standard double room this time and the bed was comfortable but on the small side, as was the size of the duvet. No safe in the room, or at least we couldn’t find one. Breakfast offers a good selection, but finishes a bit too early at 10am, also on weekends. A few parking spaces are available at SEK150 per 24h, or additional parking (more expensive) is available nearby. We have stayed at Villa Källhagen many times and would go back, but perhaps not to this room category, if staying more than one night.

Property located in a good location; about half hour walk into the centre. Located next to a lake with loads of scenic walks in the local area. We weren’t met with much of a welcome when we arrived or asked how our stay was on check out. Customer service should have been warmer. Also an awkward question for two males as to whether our booking was correct as we only had one room. The room was booked for two guests. Breakfast was a nice selection situated in a restaurant overlooking the lake. Some areas of improvement needed to the bathroom; no extraction fan, wobbly toilet seat and shaving mirror needed to be repaired. Also flickering spotlights. Parking is 150 SEK for 24 hours. For the price of £160 for a night; I would have expected a little more.

Excellent property. My go to hotel next time I visit Stockholm. Very nice outdoor space near water. Good restaurant. Convenient 15 minutes public bus transportation from the Central Railway Station. Very close to embassies. Large park close by. Plenty of parking. Beds and comforters are slightly too narrow, though.

Allt var väldigt bra.. Jag har bara en sak att klaga på och det är parkeringsmöjligheter, det finns väldigt få parkeringsplatser, med tanke på att det är ett rätt stort hotell. Annars var allt bra, ett väldigt fint hotell med ett toppenläge.

Mycket trevligt och fräscht hotell granne med fin natur och vatten. Rummet var fint möblerat o rymligt med både skrivbord o fåtöljer. I badrummet var en en underbar takkupol som släppte in dagsljus. Är inget fan av badkar, föredrar dusch. Frukosten var bra utbud av mat. Öppnade inte förrän kl 7 tyvärr. Middagen var god men en enorm ljudnivå med dubbla fester på utsidan och insidan. Vi kunde inte föra en konversation o bestämde oss för att ta desserten i receptionen.

The hotel is a 4,5 star for us but the staff from cleaners, reception and restaurant are 6 stars. Easy parking. Very good restaurant and a beautiful location with walking distance to central Stockholm.
