We stayed at Sofo to watch the NHL Global series. The hotel was in a great location central to public transport, the Avicci area and local shopping. The room was very clean and we were suprised at how warm it was despite the cold weather! Provided everything we needed, the only thing I would add is more pillows. Would definitely recommend for someone travelling to watch something at Avicii arena or on a ciry break to Stockholm.

The best thing about this hotel is the location - right by plenty of cafes, restaurants, and short walks to parks and water - without being smack in the middle of town or noise. The room was clean but small and didn't even have anywhere to put clothes on/in. It was a windowless room, so had a fan, which was quite noisy and first night I woke up a number of times because of it (next nights slept without it on). The pitch dark in the room was also disorienting the first couple of nights. The whole hotel is on basement level so it's pretty dark generally - just a small window in the seating / breakfast area. Wi-fi did not work - which was a basic requirement for me as needed to do some work. They had two different networks for guests - neither worked. But staff were kind enough to then let me use the staff one. Breakfast was a bit limited for me as a veggie/non-dairy. Yes, there was bread, some sliced veg and boiled egg, but no spread I could use, so was somewhat a dry and unfulfiling experience. Next time I'd probably go to the shop and get a bottle of mayo I could add for myself... on the last day, some olive oil appeared which was an improvement. If you're looking for just a base to sleep and you don't mind it being quite basic, it's a good place - great location, comfy bed, nice and clean and nice staff. But if you're looking for a place you can come back to and enjoy a chill in after a long day, it might not be what you're looking for.

Cheap basement hotel, ok to crash for a night

Very modest budget hotel, windowless rooms in a basement. Ok location in nice neighborhood near metro (tunnelbana), shops, restaurants. If just looking for a cheap place to crash, it's ok. If looking for a wonderful vacation hotel experience, maybe not.

I didn’t realise the the rooms are below ground level and subsequently don’t have any windows, my small room felt like a prison cell. Also I was woken up a few times in the early hours of the morning by noisy residents returning from a night out. There is no noise insulation.

Very mediocre place, when I came into the room my bed was already occupied by a Silverfish. I felt a bit lonely so he made a good companion but I guess it is not for everyone. I honestly thought I booked a room at the NOFO but must have clicked wrong and booked at the SOFO and when I realized I felt like a MOFO 1/5 Silverfish, would notbook again

Fyllde syftet med min vistelse, som var att få en god natts sömn. Helt okej frukost. Fantastiskt läge nära Skanstulls T-banestation och stadsliv men caféer och restauranger runt hörnet. Jag uppfattade det som lyhört ut till korridoren, men inte mellan rummen. Dock inga störande grannar, så det var tyst hela natten. Man bor inte över där pga den fantastiska personalen, men de var inte otrevliga heller.
