The best business casual option mid Stockho

Mornington is my go to hotell every time I'm in Stockholm for business. Warm, cosy, feel-at-home. Friendly service, great gym, awsome breakfast with Swedish and international options on the menú. Jazz evenings in the lobby are a huge extra plus that enhances que hotel's atmosphere. Perfectly located in the heart of Östermalm, with fabulous restaurants and fancy stores around the corner.

My penthouse room offered the loveliest view of the rooftops at night. I was grateful that I could open the window fully in order to let the cold air in. I found the bedroom and bathroom to be just the right size, though I couldn't use the subscription services on the TV since they didn't work with my US subscriptions. Is there a way around that? Thankfully, even though there were only 4 TV channels available, at least 1 played English-speaking shows regularly. It was great being able to access music videos as well. The staff were always super helpful. Even though I was incorrectly told that housekeeping would only go into my room if requested, my concerns were immediately addressed after I went downstairs with my complaint. I was provided with a DND hanger for my room that wasn't initially provided upon arrival. I was happy to have the situation addressed so quickly. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Despite not knowing about the hot food bar until my last full day, I was quite pleased with the selection of options available, particularly the gluten-free section. The hotel is also conveniently situated in the Ostermalm neighborhood, with plenty of access to cafes, restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. I even walked over to the local cinema the night before I left. I definitely wasn't wanting for anything during my fairly long stay.

Schöner Aufenthalt in einer tollen Umgebung. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, tolles Frühstück nur die Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen im look der 70’er Jahre. Nur das Bad in unserem Zimmer roch sehr unangenehm war jedoch sauber und zweckmässig. Alles im Allem zu empfehlen

Bra och dåligt

Mornington Hotel, ligger suveränt bra till allmänna kommunikationer och gångavstånd till många museer. Alltid mycket folk, trevlig atmosfär. Men rummet var kallt, bad om extra täcke - inga problem, badrummet ännu kallare, saknas golvvärme. Men frukosten, suveränt utbud, extra uppskattning var laktosfri äggröra hursomhelst så får man magsår av den stress personalen skapar genom att hela tiden rycka i porslinet fast man upprepade gånger påpekar (på engelska eftersom många inte talar svenska). Det är olidligt att hela tiden tvingas hålla i sitt porslin och bestick. Skulle man drista sig att gå för att komplettera något, kan man ge sig f-n på att bordet är länsat och man får börja om med att hämta bestick m.m. Definitivt inte o k. Ni måste utbilda personalen att låta oss gäster vara ifred!! Vid ett tillfälle dristade vi oss att äta på kvällen, en club sandwich, vilket tog orimligt lång tid att få in. Serveringspersonal och kockar var fullt upptagna med att högljutt babbla med varandra. Till slut sa vi till och då hade man glömt beställningen. Så dåligt. Tyvärr sådana brister dom lätt sprids.
