Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Stockholm. Great location, charming and historic building, and friendly staff. The only thing I wish I had known before booking is that Ubers/Taxis cannot pull up to the hotel, so there is a bit of a walk. Not the hotel’s fault, just good to know beforehand. Thank you so much!

This accommodation deserves a 10 pm everything! Great staff! Great location! Spotless room, bathroom, dining room. Great breakfast. Everything is within reach and walkable. This is a charming old building in Gamla Stan (Old Town) just keep in mind, there’s no elevator.

Excellent location in Old Town. Wonderful ambiance. Great breakfast. Very close to good restaurants and the waterfront. One caveat: the stairs are quite steep and challenging moving large luggage. Light travelers will have no problems. Highly recommend!

The staff was very pleasant and the room was very spacious. The location was spot on. The only thing was that the blind in the living room where I was sleeping was broken so the light from the sky was constantly shining through the window making it hard to sleep. Other than that, it was a great stay.

This hotel is in an historic building. The rooms are comfortable. The stairs to climb to the rooms are narrow and winding but what i expected for a building of this age. The staff and breakfast are amazing. Higjly recommend

We loved our stay! Fabulous location and the room had so much historic character but modern updates to make this perfect for us. The staff was friendly and helpful, even making us a bagged breakfast to go when we had to head to the airport super early our last morning. Everything was great! We loved the atmosphere of an old hotel. If you’re serkun a modern and slick place to stay, this is not it! But we wanted a historical place to stay in the heart of the old town, so for that this was perfect! Everything was clean and tidy, breakfast was good and the personel was super friendly! The access to the hotel was made very simple and it is a fair (2km) walking distance from the Viking Line harbor. We arrived late but we were able to check in with very small efforts. We recommend!

Great location

This hotel is in an historic building which includes a spiral staircase and slightly irregularly shaped rooms and bathrooms. But the service was attentive, continental breakfast satisfying and location spectacular! It was an easy walk, tram or bus ride to everything you’ll want to see in and around Stockholm.

Beautiful hotel

We had a lovely stay just before Christmas. The hotel has so much character and the staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. The only downside was the very steep and uneven stairs up to our room on the fourth floor. We were all slightly terrified by them to begin with, and I think they could have presented a real challenge for older people, or younger children. Other than that, a great stay and one that we'll definitely remember forever!

This was the coziest most unique hotel of our 10 day trip. The staff was so welcoming and the breakfast and fika was the best breakfast we had. The personal touch of everything being homemade was so special. The tips for catching the ferry and things to do was also appreciated. Wonderful way to experience historic Gamla Stan!

This was a wonderful stay for us! It was such a great experience to be able to stay in the historic Gamla Stan of Stockholm. The staff was not onsite when we checked in, but the instructions were very clear (in English) for us to check in on our own. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very attentive. Being a building from 1607, I will point out that there are spiral stairs to the room. I personally think all of the modifications to make such a historic building work for modern hotel quests to add to the charm and fascination of the place. I would definitely recommend this place for others visiting as well!

Charming old town hotel

Charming hotel in the old town. The neighbourhood is a bit noisy till about 10/10.20 when it is the quietest. This is a true 1707 built Old Town experience, with wooden beams and winding small staircase. There is no lift so if you are not able to manage the stairs, this place isn’t for you. I really enjoyed the stay. Check in was about 30 seconds long, and the room was clean and comfy. It is central for the Old Town. The only criticism is that i wish the curtains were more blackout. In the summer it is still light and the curtains are too think for that. Breakfast was great and the staff are so friendly. I would stay there easily again.
