Ariston Hotel is set in a very quiet location just outskirts of Stockholm City Center which was perfect with clean air.

Dialog Ariston Hotel Lidingo

Reception is only staffed from 6AM to 5PM (an often not even during those hours). Rooms and communal areas are in a poor state of decoration/repair. Previous guests food was left in fridge. The room was not cleaned or serviced at all during a 4 night stay. The room only had lights over the door and window, nothing in the centre of the room. Breakfast was passable, but limited. It would probably have been difficult to get table space during bust times.

For the price its ok but low quality

The room was in an okay condition but clearly run down Tv was tilted, walls and ceiling had evidence of old items now removed. Bathroom had mold in the shower area. The hot/cold was broken so almost not possible to change temperature, but water was very nice and hot. Toilet was missing a seat and for some reason there was a hammer under the sink. Room was very warm but the no aircon made it a sweaty night. Breakfast was okay, had a decent selection and coffee although the bread was very dry/ old? Receptionen was empty of people so checking out was a strange experience as the girls cleaning took care of it by telling us to just leave the room key. We got the room on short notice and for a good price so i would say that the price matched the quality. Beds was small but comfortable. For the price we paid it was acceptable.

When I arrived the room was not ready and cleaned. Arrives 5.40 pm. Got information that they have had no time to clean the room. Had to wait 45 minutes in a looby without no bevarage or service. Lady who cleaned was nit seeviceminded or welcomeing, no excuses or explaining. This is 100% not okey. No glasses at all in the room to drink water or other beverages. Laundry in hallway outside the room in big carts. No vaccuming before I got the room. Only changed sheets in one bed. I have contacted Hotels.com to conplainet and report this non service approach and attitude is not accetpable. Could not upload photos.

Positiv: gut mit dem Bus zu erreichen und es gibt Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Negativ: unsaubere Zimmer; nur ein kleines Handtuch pro Person; ein Zimmer hatte einen Föhn - das andere nicht; es gab nur auf Hinweis Seife; Betten hatten Flecken; Klimaanlage hat nicht funktioniert; kein Personal vor Ort (Rezeption), welches die typischen Aufgaben wie Handtücher austauschen, Betten machen, Müll entleeren etc. verrichtet. Zudem konnten die Fenster nicht richtig geöffnet oder geschlossen werden, daher waren diese durchgängig einen Spalt weit geöffnet. Ferner gab es keinen Spiegel im Badezimmer. WLAN-Empfang gab es gefühlt nur im Umkreis von 5 m von der Rezeption entfernt.

Under all kritik!

Under all kritik. Smutsiga sängar, trasigt fönster som du bara knuffade på rutan öppnades. Damm i hörnen och snuskigt kylskåp. Det enda som var hyfsat fräscht var badrummet. Frukosten var obefintlig, och personal lyste med sin frånvaro, när man ringde dem var de bara otrevliga. Vi valde att inte stanna över natten, då det inte kändes trevligt eller säkert. Kom tillbaka för att utnyttja frukosten, men det kunde vi lika gärna struntat i!

Slitet o gammalt men går att sova

Bra läge, rena sängkläder. Stort rum. Överlag mkt enkelt och smutsigt intryck. Ofräscht badrum. Trevlig personal. Mycket torftig frukost! Ett mjukt bröd att välja på, funlight saft, lite ost o gurka. Hemska köttbullar i en kantin utan tillbehör. Gott Eldorado-te dock! Otroligt slitet och gammalt hotell. Plus för fri parkering!

Hotell… snarare motell

Det fanns ingen personal vid incheckningen. Har inte sett personal mer än vid frukostbuffén. Rummet som vi bodde i var inte rengjort. Det var mycket damm och lukt av cigarettrök. Sängarna var fint bäddade, men allting var använt.

One of the dirtiest hotels I've stayed at

If you're only looking for a bed for a night, this hotel is passable and cheap enough. Anything beyond that I wouldn't recommend. This was one of the dirtiest hotels I've stayed at. The plastic mug in the bathroom looked like it'd barely even been rinsed after the previous guest, and was full of what looked like toothpaste remains. Shower full of grout. Mini fridge didn't work. The bed linen looked clean enough, but if cleanliness is a priority you should avoid this property at all costs.

Wifi fungerade inte rummet, utan fick gå ut i korridoren. Inga lampor eller bord vid sängarna. Ingen spegel på toaletten. Eluttag innanför dörren fungerade inte, har varit så i flera år. Frukosten var liten men dög. Rummet och hotellet var i övrigt bra.

Tillbringade fyra nätter på hotellet. Väldigt torftig frukost, det var gammalt bröd, bara en morgon fick vi färskt bröd, saknade juice och något varmt tex kokt ägg. Rummet saknade handtvål och det fanns inget duschdraperi, så det blev väldig blött på golvet efter dusch och det fanns endast ett badlakan per person. Vi hade gärna haft en mindre handduk att torka händerna på efter toalettbesök.

Det blev en stor besvikelse att checka in på ariston hotell Beställde ett rum med dubbelsäng fick ett rum med tre dåliga sängar som var dåligt om ens städat, kylskåp fungerar inte mm Ringde och fick ett annat rum som heller inte var till belåtenhet 2st av 5 eluttag fungerar och kylskåp fungerar inte mm Vi hade inget annat alternativ så vi sov bara där Frukost var urusel inte ens kokta ägg fanns Aldrig mer

Helt greit hotell til prisen. Vi hadde bare strøm på halve rommet, prøvde å gi beskjed men fikk bare beskjed om at det ikke var noe de kunne gjøre med det, selvom vi ga beskjed to dager på rad. Men ellers et helt ok hotell.

Basic hotel in need of some refurbishment, chosen due to the good location. Big issue was there was no wifi in the room (room 29) despite it being advertising on the Dialog website. I raised this with the local staff and the Dialog company but nothing was done and I received no response. Very disappointing.
