“Lovely historic home filled with books and artwork, and many outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the property. Breakfast was wonderful with caring attention paid to guests needs and wishes. “Rooms were very dusty. Chair in Room had a big hole in it not usable. The place looks very run down. Dirty carpets. Bathroom. Toilet dirty. Bedding had stains. Kitchen filthy could t bring ourselves to eat the breakfast or ha e coffee there. The woman inn keeper looked. Felt sorry for her. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place.”

“We had a lovely 2 night stay in early July. This is a classic New England inn- think cozy, warm and well lived. If you are looking for sleek and spa this is not it. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with very friendly owners and staff- this is for you. The pool was fantastic bonus as it was 98 degrees during our stay.”

We stayed in the carriage house and appreciated the large communal sitting room with refrigerator and microwave. My husband swam in the pool and commented how very clean it was.
