The hotel is lovely but is run down and in need of a facelift. I cannot fault it on the cleanness. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Its location is superb! If you want to play tennis, the courts are terrible and in desperate need of resurfacing.

Loved our stay. Theres everything in the apartment you possibly need even a sauna!!!!. There's indoor pool facilities and gym however we didn't get a chance to use it. Loved the view from the room.. so peaceful..would love to visit again..Theres a coop and wool mill nearby. Watersport opposite the site entrance.

Had a nice relaxing break, the grounds are beautiful with a really nice waterfall. Used the gym but didnt manage to fit in the spa facilities although they looked really nice. will definitely be back.

Beautiful loch side views from this gorgeous hotel. It’s a little run down in parts and stair well etc not the cleanest but the room is gorgeous, big and clean. Good location and nice apartment except the apartment was very tied and equipment was very worn, rubbish out side room was there for a couple of days and bedroom was noisy because large wimdow on to corridor plus sounds from staff smoking area and servixe area. Enjoyed the stay and good facilities with gym pool sauna and steam room and enjoyed the spa treatments.

Travelling as a single person i felt that staff didnt give a crap about me. Put into the worst apartment. Music blasting from kitchen 9am until 9pm, could hear it in all rooms of apartment but especially in bedroom. Staff did nothing when complained Food in restaraunt was very poor especially for the price. Would rather go to wetherspoons. Honestly the worst steak i have ever seen. Complained to waiter but he didnt listen and walked off. Bar staff just said they were busy so thats whats expected. The hotel grounds are lovely. Very close to hiking trails which was great. Staff didnt know about any of this and offered me a map from closest town. Pool/gym are great.

Gorgeous grounds and surrounding area. Really peaceful and well placed for scenery. Good on sight playing for children and lovely even if you don’t leave the grounds. The apartments are super spacious and love the indoor sauna and hot tub. A little cold and old fashioned but adds charm. Absolutely love coming here with my family for a little break from the city. Hoping to get a chance to visit in the summer because otherwise it’s consistently foggy and damp being right opposite the loch. This, however, is charming and atmospheric if you like that kind of thing.
