We unfortunately just stayed for one night, but we loved our visit and would definitely go back. Staying at Hotel Mader is like going back in time in the best kind of way. Very historic rooms though still warm and comfortable. The breakfast included in our stay was amazing with every kind of food and so many drink options. The staff was very accommodating. Hope to return!

Great Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay. I looked at a few options for our stay in Steyr and was happy the we went with Hotel Mader. The Breakfest buffet was great , the rooms were big and the staff was so friendly. I would highly recommend Hotel Mader if you are visiting Steyr.

Every evening I ate in the hotel. I wanted to eat in the Wine Stuber but each time they pushed to the breakfast room I wanted to enjoy the ambience of the wine bar not sit alone in the breakfast area. I pushed back and they begrudgingly let me eat in the wine bar. Rest of the hotel stay was excellent.

Hinsichtlich Parkplatz sollte man am besten nicht am Hauptplatz sondern in dem sehr gut zu erreichenden Parkhaus in der Dukatstrasse parken und über den Ennssteg in die Stadt kommen. Excellent hôtel très bien situé sur la grande place, mais pour notre 2é passage depuis 2007 les voitures ne sont plus les bienvenues en centre ville. Dommage...Attention, le dimanche (Ruhetag), la réception n'ouvre qu'à partir de 17 heures. Excellent petit déjeuner.
