It was just what I needed a clean room and a shower for an affordable price. The room I stayed in was clean but unfinished but everything I needed was functional.

You get what you pay for.. One of the double pained windows was broken on the outside of the window. There was a table with a sink and hot plate on it with a big hole on one end where rhe sink was NOT attached to a drain. No clue if the hotplate worked. The bed was clean as was the bathroom. Really small stumpy pillows. (I was really happy i had my own) The room did have a full sized fridge and heat/ac. All the electronics did work.(not sure about the hot plate. All the carpets in the hallways were covered in grim and dirt and stairways were run down. The check-in was done at the super 8 next door.(which tells a bit of the story) If I needed to do more than sleep 6 hrs I probably would have moved to a different hotel and just taken this booking as a loss. If any of my family were with me. I would again have been looking for a different location. To describe the location as run down is only going a small way to painting the picture. I suspect most of the clientele were contract farm workers and just needed an inexpensive location for an extended stay so the overall appearance would not have been too extreme for them, no real clue. I wish I took photos, but was in a bit of a state of denial.

While the property itself leaves a lot to be desired, the room itself is everything I could want at the price.

6/10 Okay

So, yeah I booked the Budget Inn. Drove up and thought, oh HELL no! Had to check in at the Super 8 which I switched my reservation to. It’s still sketchy, and I definitely won’t stay here again. The only bright spots…bed IS comfy, great tv, hot tasty coffee, and the staff is Excellent!!!

6/10 Okay

Upon arrival, the property was evidently under construction which wasn’t a bad thing…actually a good thing as improvements were under way. The buildings lacked adequate Signage on where to enter it. It was not obvious. To my knowledge there was no elevator. Room was clean w/ several amenities such as a stove top, long counter, apt size refrigerator, desk/chair, tv/monitor, towels, soaps… However the 1 negative that drives my “average” assessment is due to the hot water faucet seemingly was broken. When turning it just spun without tension so the faucet would not open. I called the front desk to report it. I could not take a warm shower! After hanging up I went back in to try it again. I got it to work but I had to angle the faucet in addition to using a fair amount of strength to open it. This is the other reason for my average/poor assessment of the property. Respectfully, JP

If you want a snippy checkin and cold-only showers in the morning, then this is your place. The City is nice. If they find a job for Haley that does not have to do with customers, Sterling will prosper and evolve.

The check in experience was bad. Had to go to different building operated by super8 for checkin. There was no instructions whatsoever that the checkin will be in super8 reception. There were flies in the room . One of basin was non functional. The bathroom tub had yellow water for first minutes. Very bad experience

You get what you pay for is the motto of this review. It did not appear dirty, but an update of the rooms should be a priority. The surrounding property was sketchy, as if we were on the wrong side of the tracks, and the actual property we had reserved was shut down. I was able to check in another hotel on that same property.
