“The property is clean and obviously fairly new. That being said, the area is fairly run down and it’s on a very noisy main road. The blinds in the bedroom were insufficient regards managing daylight levels and so the room was very bright, very early. Curtains over the blinds would be ideal. And whilst it has TV it doesn’t have any terrestrial channels but rather just streaming services (so I had to do a Prime video/itv x free trial just to watch the World Cup football). “Accès difficile quand on connaît pas (à 5 min à pied de l'arrêt du DLR). La seconde fois c'est facile. Bon wifi Personnel gentil. Chambre propre. Attention pas de climatisation mais un chauffage. Il manque du shampoing dans la salle de bain. Train direct depuis city airport. Mall Stratford à proximité. A recommandé.”

“Great location with great transport connections. Lots of space for a relaxed break. Would have given 5 stars but there were a couple of minor niggles, no bath plug, and it wasn’t clear what the process was for the rubbish at the end of the stay. Would absolutely stay again. ”

There was a lot of hair in the bathroom - none of it mine. And I needed to wash crockery and cutlery before I could use it. Being on the ground floor meant people parked 3ft from my window, shining bright car lights into the living area, talking and revving loudly late at night. “Clean home, very comfortable furniture. May need a new sofa soon. To many mirrors in the bathroom a title uncomfortable. The lock box should be placed in a new spot. There was garbage covering the box and we could not locate the box and didn’t realize it could be under the garbage bag. Good spot to ride the train. Travel lodge staff very helpful”

“The property was clean, as advertised for what to expect. But the best part of the property was being right across the street from the train station. Between Thameslink and Southern you’re 20-30 minutes from the City, basically anywhere in London was reachable in under an hour. You could get here from Heathrow in about an hour by train, which ends up way cheaper than an Uber.”
