“Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. “Highly recommend. Gorgeous restaurant and rooms with a beautiful courtyard garden. Perfect for us with two children who were in same building but floor above via internal staircase. Car park just round the corner had to pay separately for but plenty spaces. Bed was fine but could have been more comfortable and slippers would be good but appreciated the robes. “Good base for a couple of nights. Firstly the lady who checked us in and gave us information about the pub was extremely welcoming and accommodating. We managed to get into our room slightly ahead of the 3pm check in which was great as we could unpack and settle before heading off for a wander. We booked a standard double. “Me and my partner enjoyed a 2 night stay and we have to say we was VERY impressed! The place was vibrant and colourful, every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful.
