Vacations Close To Stadhuis

Perfectly clean room. Great view. Great location. Air conditioning quiet. Quiet room.

Nice location in an upscale-looking, quiet, residential neighborhood, near Museumplein. Walking distance to Leidseplein. A block from public transportation (trams #2 and 24), We were in a 1st floor room (=American 2nd floor). The room was spacious enough and had nightstands on both sides of the bed and ample outlets for our various devices. The only detractions were a persistent sewage smell in the bathroom and a 1-day elevator breakdown -- during which we discovered that the emergency stairs are a tight spiral that anyone with a mobility issue (or a suitcase, for that matter) would be unable to navigate. Thankfully it was fixed before we returned after dinner. Their breakfast was expensive, though (more than 20 euros each), so we made sure to pick up yogurt and fruits at a convenience store on our way back each evening. I would stay there again.

We had a great time. Stayed here for two nights and staff was extremely friendly. Clean hotel. Quiet. Would definitely return.

Location is absolutely wonderful. Room facing canal was large and bright. Good amount of storage space. Feels like a small intimate hotel - no long hallways exactly the same, very ‘boutique’. Bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
