This was a great place to stay. We were in one of the little cottages and we loved it. The bed was very comfortable and this was very peaceful. There are other options on the property with one including a hot tub out your back door. We would 100% stay here again. Plus, it was very affordable.

Mountains on one side and ocean on the other. It was a beautiful location. We enjoyed our room very much. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing to note was the trash was small in the room and the kitchen. But we just brought our own shopping bag for trash and threw it out elsewhere. The kitchen is very small if there are a few people wanting to cook or do dishes. But everyone was very kind and we all worked around each other. You definitely need to prepare to be at least 30 + minutes from grocery, pharmacy and such so plan accordingly. Great location to explore the peninsula.

Very beautiful location and the facility is amazing; good place to enjoy the Nature. There's absolutely nothing closeby, so get your food and Check-IN; enjoy the nature sitting in the Spa.

Rustic cabin overlooking fields of grazing sheep and the ocean. Simple but charming and within an hour amazing sites including waterfalls, a cave and Stone bridge.

Ocean, mountain and glacier views, comfortable

Great location in beautiful surroundings. Comfortable rooms even though a little small and tired. Best to take your own food including breakfast. We really enjoyed staying for our one night and taking a lively stroll to the beach.

The cabins are adequate for the price. It seems a bit run down (e.g. some wearing/tearing on the black out blinds, stiff and rusting lock on the door). If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay on Snaesfellsnes, then this does the trick 😊.

Incredible location

Staff was very nice. The location is incredible. The cottage was very tight. We killed 2 (pretty big, about the size of a dime) spiders. It’s a wooden cottage, so plenty of hiding places. Very comfortable bed. Easy check-in/out. The communal kitchen was great.

If you visit the Snaefellsnes Peninsula, know that you have to backtrack some miles to stay overnight at this place. It is clean & quiet, with almost no other facilities around. Be sure to buy groceries beforehand. Only a couple of restaurants within 5 miles, both closing pretty early even in the summer time.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and nice. Kitchen facilities were good. I didn't see any staff but that was ok . The WiFi didn't work in the kitchen - it connected with the password but couldn't use it - and there was none in the room itself. It is hard to be in the middle of nowhere without a bit of WiFI.

Lovely cabin in a very serene area

A lovely small cabin overlooking the sea was what we wanted. There was a kitchen that you could use and wifi was available in this room. Be aware that there are two places within a 15 minute drive where you can eat, one which is a buffet which cost approximately £40 per person and closed at 9pm I believe, and another that closed around 7pm. The nearest supermarket was more than 30 minutes away and closed close to 6pm. With all this in mind - be prepared with food if you are going to get there late.
