The views were awesome, the staff were very friendly but breakfast wasn’t different each day. The waffle was extremely hard, but the egg and sausage breakfast was decent. Breakfast also didn’t come with a drink of any kind, but overall I wouldn’t mind going back. Now that I know what to expect and what not to expect. Pretty decent hotel in the cut off the beaten path. I like the privacy.

This was the perfect location for our plans on the island. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and loved the views from the balcony. We had fresh made breakfast every morning and we’re pleasantly greeted by the resident cat, Shadow, and of course Geraldo too. We really enjoyed our stay at Island View Guesthouse. The view from the room, pool, and eating areas was fabulous. The food at breakfast and the dinner we ate was delicious. We did have an issue with hot water and housekeeping but otherwise it was a good time.
