Views are incredible. Prepare for a hike up and down a mountain, or use the shuttle. The exterior is deceiving...the unit we stayed in was beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful.

THE VIEW FROM OUR BALCONY WAS BREATH TAKING.THE GROUNDS OF THE PROPERTY WERE WELL MAINTAIN.YOU FELT LIKE YOU WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THIS TROPICAL SETTNG.STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. BUT THERE ARE A LOT OF STEPS TO GO FROM THE UNIT TO THE LOWER LEVEL OF THE RESORT,IF YOU CHOOSE TO WALK. THEY DO OFFER FREE SHUTLE RIDES.TO GET AROUND THE RESORT.

Point Pleasant Resort is a jewel in the tropics! Phenomenal views, outstanding clean rooms with modern layouts, easy beach access, and dining options all within walking distance. The staff are very helpful, friendly, and accessible! They are a big reason our stay was so pleasant. As others have mentioned, due to the hilly landscape, this is not ideal for those with mobility limitations. If you're not already in good shape you will be after a few days walking around here. :) Still the hotel shuttle can get you around a little. The hotel beach is nice and the more impressive Coki beach is just a short walk away including options for scuba diving, snorkeling, and spending time with dolphins and more at Coral World Ocean Park. Again, all of these are withing walking distance! The dormant Sugar Bay resort is a humbling reminder of the hurricanes impact on the island. As time passes restorations all around are making this an ideal destination for tourists again. If you're looking for a nice, quiet island getaway I'd recommend making Point Pleasant Resorts your destination!

Beautiful views, quiet but still social. Convenient to have full kitchen for eating in when desired. Enjoyed the balcony every day and the serene environment. Do not miss the terrace pool or sugar beach.

Just some wish I knew info for future travelers. The resort is very steep and has lots of steps. So be able to handle the exertion. You have 2 restaurants, but the bar in grill is very limited and limited seating. The resort doesn’t have any activities so you have to go elsewhere for water fun etc. that being said the cost of cabs are high and watch where you go it’s hard to catch them at some places. We also found they don’t want to take you to the other side of the island and if you do be ready for $50-$60 each way. We stayed in E9 the view is amazing. The bed was horrible and the burners on the stove need to be fixed (or replaced). We had a great relaxing time overall just needed more research. Also groceries are EXPENSIVE so be prepared for that also. The staff at the resort are super friendly also and helpful.
