We absolutely loved our stay at the Peninsula! It is nestled in the heart of an artsy neighborhood, and surrounded by wonderful restaurants and shops. Not only was the location ideal, but the restaurant staff was incredible, as well! Communication with the hotel staff was clear and easy. I was a bit nervous about “contactless” hotel staff, but it was refreshing and they responded to any questions we had very quickly. We are already planning our next trip!
The French restaurant on the first floor is incredible!
The grounds, especially the wrap-around porch are magnificent!

This is a very cute and trendy little place to stay. The downtown area is lively and seemed to stay busy. The rooms are as described and very lovely and the bar downstairs was nice. However the two free drinks that come with the room are canned seltzers in the refrigerator in the room, not from the bar and walking through the first floor restaurant to get to your room with all your luggage is a bit odd. But overall, it's a fun place to stay if you like downtown life.

Location is excellent, if you want amenities without driving. There are bars,restaurants, ice cream, a pier, and beach. The room itself was clean and comfy just very noisy. You can hear everything outside the hotel/inside the hallway and stairwell. This is Ok in the day time, but It didn't quiet down until after midnight. Great place for my quick one night stay in Gulfport. Could not be more perfectly located as the beach and many dining and entertainment options are right out the front door and even before you get to the door there's a great little bistro bar. Check in is all self-service with a code, and while we had a slight confusion on that it was all handled very quickly. Would definitely stay here again.
