Lovely staff, delicious breakfast and very clean rooms. Some parts of the hotel have been modernised but other parts still need to be done so in places it is a little tired. But in the most part it’s an excellent hotel and the staff and food are incredible.

The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful. I wanted to send a pet container in advance to enable a ferry trip home with my dog. They agreed to store it for me for some days before I arrived and they were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Delightful people. A very dog-friendly hotel maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness. The breakfast room (and breakfast) both lovely.

Just returned from a three night stay at The Duke Hotel and loved it. The staff are welcoming, attentive and friendly. The hotel is short walk from the town centre and bus terminal which made getting about easy. The room was clean, comfortable and well laid out with plenty of storage. the bed was comfortable, and made up every day by housekeeping. Aircon was welcome in the heat! We used the heated pool at the Hotel which was lovely. Towels and robes are provided to make things easier. The bar area and terrace was lovely with reasonable prices. We didn't eat in the hotel in the evening as we like to go out but the menu looked good. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choice. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Great hotel. Very quiet and clean room with lots of natural light and nice view over the Park. I much prefer it to the OG for a quiet nights sleep - had an awful 2 nights sleep at OG earlier in the year . Staff very warm and friendly, though I would say it felt they were short a staff member or 2 in the bar at the evening and at breakfast time. However, the staff coped very well given how busy they were. We will return.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. The hotel was beautiful and our room was lovely. Every member of staff were super friendly and attentive. We would definitely stay here again for Guernsey. The only downside was lack of car parking. Sic spaces which are first come first serve basis but we luckily didn't have any trouble.

Fabulous food & service in a great location. The breakfast options are excellent and the meal we had in the Leopard Bar was wonderful. Although it's situated at the top of a hill, it's within a 15 minute walk from the centre of St Peter Port or 5 minutes from the bus stop nearest Candie Gardens

We had a great 3 day get away. Well located in St Peter’s Port. If you are getting the bus from the airport, there are buses, but it is an up hill walk. However a taxi was £17. Great menu with daily specials. Service and staff were great.
