The suite was amazing, probably one of the nicest suites we have ever stayed in and the cleanest. The balcony and view of the golf course was fantastic! Saint Mary's is a cute little town with a few shops and restaurants. We ate dinner at the Social 31 restaurant which is owned by the golf club, it was just a few minute walk up the fairway. Service and food was excellent. We ate breakfast at the Sunset Diner, a cute little local restaurant with great food and service. We also dropped by Stratford on the way home, only 20 mins away and a great Country scenic drive, tons of shops and restaurants there. We definitely will come back to the Penrose Suites!!

The room was so clean and so nicely laid out. The view out of the balcony was breathtaking. The restaurant adjacent did require a car to get to but was fantastic and I also recommend. I found the location ideal and will definitely recommend and stay here again!

The property is clean and well laid out. They didn't skimp on materials inside but made some simple design errors. There is no place to work in the kitchen; there is no place to store any clothes in the bedroom and the toilet is placed right next to the shower when there is lots of open space next to it. None of the windows open, and the balcony doors have strong closers on them so keeping them open to let in some fresh air is an effort. Lastly, the noise from the unit above is very noticeable - a sound barrier should have been placed between the units. When booking, request unit C. It is the top floor and would avoid the noise issue. If you have mobility issues, you will need unit B as both A and C units have long staircases. There is confusion around checkout times. The reservation material and the website say checkout is 11:00 from Monday to Thursday and 10:00 for Friday to Sunday. We checked out on a Monday, but the checkout instructions said we had to choose a checkout time before 10:00. This is confusing, and when you can't get ahold of anyone to ask, slightly disconcerting.
