Vacations Close To St-Martin Archaeological Museum

What an enjoyable stay at Holland House! Super cute, very friendly staff and food and drinks were amazing! My only regret was I didn’t book for a longer stay! The hotel is right on the boardwalk in front of a beautiful beach on the dutch side of the island. You can walk to shopping and restaurants. Things do close early on that side but hop in a taxi to the French side of the island to great restaurants and entertainment! I will return soon! What a great change from the large chain hotels!!

The home is beautiful the pictures does this home no justice. It is on a hill and further away from food and night life. I do recommend a driver for sure. The host was very accommodating to us. Our flight was days and hours delayed and we had an extra guest. The check out process was smooth if you need a later check out I would recommend just booking for the full day.

Property and grounds were very nice. Room was nice and clean. The edge pool was our favorite, as it was the most peaceful. The ocean point pool was really nice, it had a great view of the water and a bar. The beach was pretty but small and again seemed overcrowded as it was the main beach for multiple resorts. 24 hour room service was appreciated, however, the food was mediocre. Some meals better than others but overall, very average. The little town the resort was located on was small but was nice to take a little walk off the resort for some ice cream and shop. The resort offers access to the family side as well as adults only. The family side seemed extremely overcrowded the few times we walked through. There were a couple nights it sounded like people were partying on our balcony they were so load. Overall it was a nice trip but we would probably prefer something a little more secluded and relaxed as my fiancé and I are often looking for a more relaxed vacation.
