We were upgraded to a very nice suite and did that make a difference for the whole trip. Quiet, clean rooms, comfortable, showers with abundant hot water, personable staff at all times, and there was a very nice elegance about the hotel. The thermostat worked so we were comfortable with cold weather outside. It was convenient having restaurants on premises and nice to be given courtesy discounts. The location nearer the St. Louis Museum of Art was a plus. This was our first foray using a hotel over Airbnbs, and we made a good decision. We would rebook if the prices stay steady.

Location is within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, and local shops. Valet is $50/day, self park is $40/day. On-site restaurants are great, steakhouse was excellent but very expensive. Only negatives were no full length mirror in the room, only mirror was behind sink in bathroom, and construction noise next door to hotel.
