Our room had not been cleaned properly. The bathroom mirror had old splatter on it. The toilet wouldn’t stop running every time we flushed it unless we took the lid off the tank and fixed it. The floors looked as if they hadn’t been vacuumed or cleaned in a very long time and the desk area had crumbs on it which means it was never wiped down after the previous guests. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly and nice.

Attempted to call the hotel multiple times during the day of my check in and the phone number provided was forwarding to a dead extension. Additionally, our first room’s heater sounded like a disease engine trying to start and was only blowing cold air. The second room didn’t have a tv and the door to the bathroom looked like it had been attempted to be forced open. Luckily the third room was acceptable and the staff was trying their best to find a room that was acceptable. .

I arrived at 9:30pm and had to wait 30 minutes for someone to appear at the front desk so I could check in. That's outside the bounds of propriety.

Works for one of the cheapest nights around, but need to learn my lesson - that I don’t like to see a layer of dust on lamps, & bunches of hairs on desk chair.
Not sure if all hotels have such thin walls or the caliber of the guests that come to budget hotels - loud TV & party type noise until 3am:(
I’ve never really experienced such bad pillows - they looked good & sheets/bedding was clean, but the pillow stuffing was misshapen & quite bad.
We should've asked to change rooms when we saw the low water pressure when flushing toilet … And sure enough by early morning, backed up - asked for plunger - didn't fix it. Used lobby bathroom.
Little fridge barely had any juice, even when we turned it all the way- very grateful kind staff stored our supplies in lobby fridge.
Lobby & hallway carpets clearly needed vacuuming & stairwells gross/bugs.
We LOVED that it had an EV charger- main reason why we picked this hotel (just one - so grateful was available). But I would rather sit at a charge station down the road than pick this 2-star place again.

My apologies Ms. Maria that your stay was not up to our standards. I have shown this to the housekeeper that cleaned your room and used this as a training for her to make sure that this doesn't happen again.
