The staff were great! It’s a very relaxed vibe and great location. The room we had was a nice size and clean. They charge a fee to use the safe which was a bit strange but other than that everything was as expected and we had a wonderful stay.

A lovely small hotel, located at the end of the gap. There is beach access from the hotel. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is good. Happy hour 12 to 1pm and 5pm to 6pm each day. Accomodation is split into 3 buildings but dont feel isolated.

Dover Beach Hotel has a great beach, 2 pools on the porperty and lots of good restaurants nearby. All the staff were very good and in particular the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. While the hotel is dated the room was clean and had a very comfortable extra large King size bed. Great to have the kitchenette which allowed us to have breakfast in the room in the morning as well as any extra leftovers from large restaurant meals. Overall this was good value for a great location.

The staff were very professional and helpful, especially the front desk and the Sea Grape restaurant. The pool and grounds were well kept. The room was cheerfully decorated but very tired, especially the kitchenette and the bathroom. The housekeeping staff did a good job on the regular daily cleaning, however the high touch surfaces (door handle areas and cupboards were in need of attention). Overall it was fine for the price point.

Room was clean and comfortable, had AC, hot water , TV . Staff was 50/50 some were friendly and helpful. Others were quite short and rude. The things i disliked the most were the walls were very thin . You can hear everyone else around you at all hours. Also, The outside environment is also quite loud especially from sun up to down. Between traffic, staff working, people sitting pool side, ect. After noting all this I would still consider staying again.
