I liked this place and would consider staying there again if in St. Joseph. It is a beautiful place. That said, it is kind of in need of a refresh with some maintenance and physical plant issues that ought to be addressed. Otherwise, the history and atmosphere are worth considering this venue.

This place is great! Staff is amazing. History of the ,mansion is intriguing and placed all over for viewing. Beautiful woodwork and rooms. The only thing i would change is the water pressure in the shower was low and the pillows weren't great in our bed. Breakfast was a showstopper! Would definitely stay here again.

Never stayed in a place like this before and we found it very relaxing and refreshing. Breakfast was superb and the owner and staff very friendly and accomodating. If you are tired of staying in sterile, rectangular buildings, this is a great option.
