We stopped in on our way home, close highway access. The room was clean, nice comfortable beds and the view was lovely. The room also had a balcony. It was fine for the night and the price was also good.

It’s a budget motel, but you get a nice place for the price. It’s spacious. Each room has a balcony overlooking green space with trees. There is a pool (it was closed for the season while I was there). It is safe and very clean. When I had any problems, the staff was quick to assist. Even though it’s dated, it’s a great and inexpensive place to stay.

This is an older property with signs of wear, but the building and grounds are clean and the staff is very helpful. Breakfast is limited to waffles, toast, bagels, donuts, fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee. Friendly to cyclists who are riding the Lamoille Valley rail trail, and just a stone’s throw from the Lamoille Valley rail trail shuttle pickup point.

Don't pick this hotel because it has a free breakfast – it was mostly bread, cold cereal and a waffle maker, but I wouldn't trust the batter. The TV worked, but unless you signed in using your own streaming platforms, you couldn't watch anything. I will say that the bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The staff was also quite helpful.

Clean, spacious room. Good location. Nice deck overlooking colorful trees. Chairs would have been nice. Breakfast was disappointing, only starchy choices. Hard boiled eggs would have been nice. Community yogurt container, yuk. Overall good.

We chose the Fairbanks Inn, because it is close to the St Johnsbury Park & Ride, where the bike shuttle for the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail stops. The Inn is a couple miles from downtown St Johnsbury. The room was clean and had a small refrigerator. The air conditioner worked well. Everything was comfortable. The breakfast was just OK. It's a good value for hotels in St Johnsbury.

This Inn was a quiet, and convenient stay. The room was rather large and had a great view of the Vermont hills. The young man working the front desk and breakfast room the next morning was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was rather sparse, but we were able to get some coffee and toast before heading out.

Great location for visiting the St. Johnsbury area. The Inn has seen better days, however. Some things/areas were recently updated, while other were worn and very outdated. Upon entering the room, I noticed that the molding around the door was damaged and taped together. I was told that staff had to break into room to help a customer who locked himself out on the balcony. I asked if it could be repaired the next day, and was told yes. I stayed there for three nights and it was never repaired. However, the room was large and clean, with mostly new furniture/fixtures (although there was a handle missing from the TV table). The bathroom was obviously not updated for some time, but functional. The balcony was large and private, but had no chairs/tables, so I sat on a pillow on the floor to enjoy the afternoon sun. Breakfast was o.k., but with minimal choices. Overall: very overpriced for what you get, but there are few options to stay right in the area, especially if you need to (which I did).
