“The lodge we chose was perfect, it had a hedged private garden & the hot tub was under cover should there be anu rain. The only thing to bear in mind is there is no shop on site and nearest is about 5 mins drive away. But in all the site is amazing, great views, quiet, well laid out, both pet & family friendly site. Great location to visit Elan Valley.”

“We stayed for three nights in Snowy Lodge. Check in was easy, your keys are left in an envelope in the small reception, theres a map on the wall to tell you where to go. Take note with regards to check in and check out. Hotels.com states check in at 5 o'clock when its actually between 4 and 5 and check out at 9 when its actually 9:30 to 10. The lodge was clean and quiet with great views down the valley. Getting into the hot tub when we came back from visiting the local sites was a joy, lying...

“The staff were friendly and helpful and the Inn is really good. There was a lot of noise until past 1am which was unfortunate and kept us awake but as the bar was shut I’m not sure what the staff could have done to stop it.”

“The room was clean however it is smaller than we expected but it was worth for money. Free parking available however it gets busy in the evening because the people those who are coming to pub also use the same carpark. The hotel situated in a great location. Aldi and Tesco Extra are few minutes walking distance. Curry house and kebab shops are close too.”

“Our fourth stay at the Metropole in recent years.A privilege to stay in such a unique historic building,with yes a little patina around the edges.If you dont embrace the nostalgia then budget chain's are available.The staff here are so good,as is the breakfast and the pool and spa facility.A great location for roadtrips around mid Wales,and a huge car park.”

“The best part was the breakfast, very good and very polite individual. The room was cold, no hot water to shower, no one around to solve the issue. All in house amenities not in use. No bar. No service, no contact. It's 2 miles from town, so taxi us essential. It's the sort of place that picture perfect... But you'll only go once. Sorry for the bad review, almost recovered by the polite service and lovely breakfast.”

“Room was clean. Bathroom shower leaking and very small. Tea, coffee and microwave available. Would of liked a long mirror in the bedroom to dry hair ect as had to run extension lead to bathroom, not ideal. Staff are amazing, Parking very tight so to get a space pull up after the 11am check out. Breakfast choices wonderful, lots of choices and all fresh.”
