High sink but nice

The room was nice, clean. The sink they had was one that sits above the counter and made it to high to use it conveniently. But other than that it was ok.

We ended up not staying because it was so dirty. We immediately noticed that the floors had not been swept or mopped. Nothing had been wiped off. There was food and drink remnant left from the previous occupants. Top to bottom the entire room and bathroom was filthy. We were able to cancel or reservation and receive half the cost back. Dealing with the staff when we checked in, they were pleasant enough but not the most professional. I realize I didn’t pay or book at a 5 star hotel but it was not even a 1 star hotel. The pictures and description of the facility do not match what it actually is. Two thumbs down.

The staff we were great. We were in town for a funeral, and we had to check in at nearly 4am. We let them know in advance, and they went above and beyond to make it easy for us.
