The experience I had was that this is a pretty average stay with a building that has outdated fixtures. The room had a funny smell, and there was nothing especially dirty, but it looked like not much had been updated in the last 30 years. The staff seemed friendly. I'm sure it's not terribly entertaining to sit at that desk for hours.
