    Cozy & Clean!

We loved staying at Gooseberry Lodges! We stayed in a standard cabin so there was no private bathroom, but that was okay with us. Our cabin and the shared bathroom and showers were very clean upon arrival and throughout our stay. Aaron was also super helpful and answered all our questions in a timely matter. We would definitely stay here again if/when we come back to Utah! We will note that the lodges are an approx 40 min drive to Zion National Park. We didn't mind the drive every time we trekked to Zion but thought it was worth mentioning for others.

Such a great place to stay! We stayed after hiking in Zion National Park all day and it was a perfect end to our day in nature. The property manager emailed us the instructions for getting into our cabin, and once inside, there was a booklet with more info about the property. Each cabin has one parking space, a picnic table, 2 patio chairs and a fire pit. The property manager also came by shortly after we arrived to introduce himself and give us some more info and to see if we needed anything or had any questions. They also provided two hot dog/marshmallow roasting sticks, and a bucket of firewood. You can purchase more firewood, along with s'mores kits and some other basic items from the office cabin. Our cabin was very nicely decorated, and had a couch, table with 2 chairs, sink, Keurig, a loft (which kids would love), a queen bed, and a full bathroom. Just know that the cabins with bathrooms have small water heaters, so you only get about 10 minutes of hot water in the shower. They are building a second row of cabins behind the cabins we stayed in, so capacity will soon increase. My only (minor) complaint was that the front cabins facing the road do get some heavy road-noise if you're outside. I would love to stay here again for a longer time. We had a great time sitting out by the fire, enjoying the views and the stars. I would also love to stay here with a group as everyone could get their own cabin, but everyone could mingle out by the firepits and picnic tables.

    Grand vista hideaway

The inn keepers were welcoming and attentive. I got what I expected. Rustic. The cabins are nearly new and immaculate. I stayed in a standard cabin so a shared bathroom with individual bathrooms a short walk away. They had everything, heater, A/C, BBQ's chairs, a picnic table, great little porch in the shade. Unfortunately for me, it poured rain the day after I got in. Unfortunately that creates a mud situation. While the complex is new, theyve done a great job with gravel to minimize the mud but it may not be what some guests expect. No big deal for my stay. The skies cleared and all was well. I would totally stay again. The other thing, its right off a main road. Makes it easy to find but during the day you have to put up with the sound of cars. Solution: go for an all day ride. At night it all dissipates and you have a wonderful night sky.
